Chicken, gasoline, and a tornado

Stopped to get gas and bought chicken. It's like KFC but with a gas station. Anyways, I stayed in Hays for the night and the next day headed to Denver. While I was on my way there I stopped to get gas about a hour out of Denver and the lady told me I should wait because there was a tornado coming down the highway towards me about 40 miles away. I decided to wait an hour and get going.
