On the way to Cooktown we went on the Bloomfield Track, which was so much fun! We stayed in Cooktown for two nights. While we were there,we went to the Museum and learnt about Captain James Cook,We went fishing off the wharf and Marc caught a Little Queenie(in the boiling hot weather),we played music in the musical boat,we went to the old bank, and on the second morning,at six o'clock we all woke up to watch an amazing sunrise on Grassy Hill.We also had the BEST Pizza’s and Pad Thai at the Italian Restraunt. It was delicous! We didn’t take the caravan but stayed in cabins at a BIG 4 & Alamanda Inn.The first night, we had dinner at the pub and the second night of course we had Italian. We all liked Cooktown a lot. We're now as far north as we were possibily going in Queensland, time to head west!
