On the Wednesday after Sydney, we all went to Manly Beach.The weather was a bit windy,but still pretty sunny.We had a walk along the beach,visited a few shops and had a play on the playground.Mum showed us which hotel she stayed in,then Marc and dad went to look at the surf shop.There were lots of good waves for the surfers,but the trouble was paddling all the way out to the back.

We visited North Head and went fishing near the old gasworks. We bought sausages and had a barbeque for lunch, and then at the end of the day we walked around the headland at Shelly Beach and watched the sun go down.

Manly was beautiful, I'd love to stay there in the summer for a couple of nights.
