Who would have thought we'd have so much fun in Canberra? There was plenty to see and do. The War Memorial was fascinating while Cockington Green, a minature village, was built with amazing attention to detail. The weather was really mild and we ended up staying 5 days. I was also booked in to meet a Cheetah on Monday at the National Zoo and Aquarium. It was an awesome experience, one i'm very happy i did and something I'm not likely to forget. This, of course, was part of my birthday present. Thank you to all my friends for making this possible. More adventures are yet to come with photos to follow as you'd expect. We also met new friends at the Canberra Motor Village and spent a couple of nice evenings over a few beers in the caravan with Tracey, Harry and little Evie( we will miss her singing). The kids all had a great time together. We wish them well in their travels and a safe trip home. Happy Surfing Harry!

we are very jealous
Hi all, it all looks and sounds great. Nejla , if you go on the grade 6 excursion next year to Canberra you will go to just about everything you have been to, including Questacon and more.
Everything here is going well, piss piss is doing well, though I don't think he's happy about less food(I do give him a little in the morning though, mainly to get him out of the house). Looking forward to the rest of your travels.

Hi guys - your travel blog is fantastic - I'm really enjoying hearing about all your adventures! Nothing much to report from Perth - Sam's soccer team won 10 - nil on the weekend and Sam scored three goals - Papa was there to watch the slaughter. Kirsty came first in her year in her performance exam with the amazing score of 47 out of 50 - so both of them are pretty pleased with themselves! Caitlin spent last week at Yirra Yaakin on work experience (I missed two days as I was home sick with the flu) and she was wonderful to have around - she got to run the lights and sound for the show we had at the YY theatre and I think enjoyed her time with the YY family. Work is a bit of a struggle for me at the moment (thus writing to you instead of doing bookings!) so I'm green with envy of your trip for more than one reason! Poppy had to have a tooth removed last week - her cheek was swollen (otherwise no real signs of being off colour!) so I took her to the vets and 600 odd dollars later she's minus two teeth and the abscess - and her remaining teeth are very clean and white! What else can I tell you? Paul and I have resolved for the five millionth time to begin a healthy eating/exercise regime....it usually lasts from Monday to Friday and then falls into a big hole on the weekend - but as we are only five weeks away from going to Bali I am determined to shed some of the flab so the flesh on display in the hot weather is not so much!!

Anyways - better go and do some work I spose....love to you all...keep adventuring!! Aunty Meredith xxx000
