Machteld went to the post office and received a parcel that was sent on march 11th. It mainly had things for their time at Waamuzi school.
Tuesday Josh went home. Machteld, Ella and Hanna went tot Amani Mvomero
Wednesday was a special day. Machteld could spent the money from the church. She felt really responsible for the money
The coordinator of Amani center went together with Machteld Ella and Hanna to several places to buy or order things.
Altogether the money is spent on:
Tables for children at school; Already one of the tables was finished. It is ordered at the local carpenter.
Part of the money will be spent on renovation of the pigs stable
Also the motorbike can be repaired. It is used to visit families (with disabled children) at home
Other part is spent on a toilet. The center has just been connected to streaming water
Al these things are bought or spent at local shops,
The last part will be used for schoolbooks. Machteld will by them in Dar or at Zanzibar and sent it to Mvomero.
It was very special to see the real life work of African people; even more them they had experienced in the last half year
Machteld was very happy with the reaction of the coordinator. The coordinator was impressed by the idea that people from Holland did spent this amount of money for the Mvormero center.
On Wednesday evening there was a good-bye party for the Machteld, Ella and the other volunteers
On Thursday to Dar and then by boat to Zanzibar. First night at Stonetown. It is a more Arabic place than Tanzania.
Sunday to the south east of the Island to Jambiani.
They have the lower room of a cottage near the beach. It is a beach with rocks and stones. Hardly any tourists are here. Children playing in de blue water. The girls are very happy with this place and enjoy the last few days in Tanzania/Zanzibar. They swim, sun, play, eat. All in a quiet mood.
They look forward to next week when they come Home!!!!

dat je met het geld van de kerk nu nog verschillende projecte klaar kan krijgen .
Wat zal je dat een rijk gevoel geven,ook dat ze er zo blij mee zijn ze waarderen het echt.
