its monday, 28th nov. i'm off on the 7th dec, not long now-oh crap!!last minute purchase; i was told a netbook would be a good addition to the bag, why, i dont really know. i'm sure there are plenty of logically good reasons but i mayneed to something to entertain myself with on those long haul 'chicken bus' trips in mexico-it may also help me stop looking down the ravine and wondering why i did not choose the other side of the bus which is now full of locals who know by experience which side to sit on.  so £200 lighter and waiting for the arrival of the netbook. £11 express delivery, could not take the chance for normal postal service.
been nuturing a goaty as well to help take away the mad look in the picture posted. problem is dont know how customs will take to it- i look very different to the present passport picture; just smile and plead ignorance my friend said, as well as having a $20 note handy.

i'll organise an up to date photo with my other new purchase (camera). at this rate i would have spent all my funds on preparing for the trek - with whats left i may just make the Isle of Wight. ah well i hear sandown and shanklin are pretty this year.
