Swimming with the fishes

It was quite a good place to get over my fish phobia as after watching the fish being fed we had the opportunity to go snorkeling. The coral forms a natural lagoon so all the really big scary sea creatures are outside of the lagoon and you can swim with the Nemo fish, the slightly bigger fish (about a foot long) and the turtles - who are great - very chilled out as per finding Nemo.
We also went for a walk on the coral island where thousands of birds were nesting - slightly Alfred Hitchcock! - and where you can see the turtles nest were over 100 turtles came ashore to lay there eggs.
After lunch we went out on a glass bottomed boat for some more coral viewing before a final snorkel where a turtle came really close to us - apparently it's mating season so perhaps I'm looking like a turtle these days!
Can't do pictures from here as I'm on an Etch-a-sketch (AKA Mac) and have no idea how the thing works!
Last night I took the night bus to Arlie beach. The combination of a late night the night before, snorkeling and a glass of wine meant I didn't see much of the journey - or the in flight movie - which was Posedian. Probably not a bad thing as I board my boat to the Whitsundays today to swim with some bigger fishes!
