Cos I'm leaving on a jet plane...

So the day has almost arrived. You poor souls who had to hear me dream about this moment for so many years will now have to put up with me telling you about it instead of just wishing it was happening! Still, you all knew I would find a way to do this no matter what it took. I've taken a somewhat convoluted route to get here and made many mistakes on the way, but I know as soon as I step off the plane and start the adventure it will all suddenly seem worth it.

Tomorrow at 11.55am, Dan and I will be waving goodbye to Heathrow as we head off to Los Angeles. Although it will be a sad day for many (and a happy day for others!) deep down everybody knows that its the chance of a lifetime. We'd be fools not to take this opportunity and meet our new challenges head on.

Of course we will miss you all but through the wonders of that great British invention, t'internet, we are always but a keyboard stroke away. Please do all keep in touch as even the most mundane email may lift our spirits during our homesick moments and don't forget to follow our misadventures through this website.

Enjoy the next 7 months, don't forget about us and make sure you take care of yourselves.
