Staying in Cusco for week to acclimatise to altitude and to book Macchu Piccu. In meantime stroll around local neighbourhood not as "as in your face " as expected touts and vendors quite polite not pushy. Plenty of pizza places and bars. To acclimatise properly need to do as little as possible and not drink. The first part is OK but the not drinking clearly is going to work. So we may have to extend our stay further just to acclimatise to the hangovers!
