After a leisurely breakfast we set off with the kids to explore the antique markets of San Telmo. It was pouring with rain all morning so we all kitted ourselves out in walking shoes and waterproofs! (since I don't own a waterproof I wore shorts and vest...skin is waterproof...and borrowed Sara's umbrella!)

The markets are pretty famous but turned out to be mainly the same tat as usual mixed in with some old tat! I bought a new bag with a zip to make me feel a bit safer walking around the streets and an interesting necklace with blue stones! oh and I got a free latte from Starbucks as they couldn't change my note! Bonus!

We had a great lunch of pasta and wine followed by vanilla tart with dolce leche (caramel)

After lunch we set off to see the colourful buildings of Boca, with only a vague idea where they were and a very bad map! This ended up resulting in us walking about 1000 miles through some pretty dubious neighbourhoods! We all stuck together and were fine! Once we found the coloured buildings we were amazed and relieved! There were not too many tourists as it was Sunday but it is quite clearly set up for tourism! The walk home was equally dodgy but went fine and was a great experience:)

Dinner was a quiet salad with Sara pretty tired but loving it. We decided to stay here for an extra couple of nights as we really like the city!
