Just another crowded, overpriced destination in this part of Mexico, but the beach is really nice. We spent hours swimming in the shallow waters, diving between gigolo yachts and bikini queens...

We managed to find a no frills guesthouse for ok money but never enjoyed walking the streets of the island: If you don't speak Spanish, the locals will either give you bad looks or try to rip you off.

Having said that, it is possible to get some alright deals on hammocks on the island, but you got to bargain hard.
