Looking great!! I can just imagine the adventures you will have in it.

Great photos, thanks. It's interesting to look under the "skin" - makes you realise how much goes into the building of a BT.

Having a wonderful van this size, will certainly allow you to make long unstressed vacations - you will need some big parking spots though !

Hi Guys, Glad you are safe back in Aus, looks great the new van and ute. KIds loved the size of the ute, reakon i should get won for work.
We won't see you on the road as we have a new hobby now. needed something to get warm in winter so have been over in Vanuatu getting our boutique resort ready.
www.barrierbeachhouse.com.au It opens on July 1st website only just went up, still lots of photos to add as we put final touches on the place.

Love your new home. Both of us had some serious but not terminal health issues in the last year and thanks to you we are now looking at a similar caravan and a tow vehicle. The tow vehicle is the problem as Sue will have to drive it as my right ankle is STUFFED and though I can ride my bikes I cant drive a car so that is our next project. We are now both retired. I will keep you informed, meanwhile any thoughts you may have about a towing vehicle we will be happy to hear but it "MUST" be able to accommodate at least one of my bikes

Jay,
I don't know who Jeff is above but like you we have nothing but praise for our van that we have now had for 11 years and it has just clocked up 200,000 recorded kilometres that has travelled on some of the worst roads in the country.
When our van was in warranty the minor problems that we had were fixed without any problems, and several years after getting the van we had a 4th solar panel installed and a very severe twister hit the van and sucked it off the roof. After inspecting the van, Steve gave us a replacement solar panel.

As for selling his BT and getting a so called real van, I don't believe that there is another make of caravan that will stand up to Australian outback conditions any better than a Bushtracker will.
