When we departed Paradise Dancer, the "others" went their separate ways and we returned to Manado for another night at Kimo Bajo (and of course another massage!). The drive across the island was quite interesting; our interpreter was a very English fluent and owned a local travel agency. As such, she was a wealth of information, and did not hesitate to answer "Jay's hard and sometimes personal" questions! :-)

Leaving Bitung and climbing into the mountains our first stop was at a museum that displayed ancient burial crypts. Because a lot of visitors to the museum are foreigners, and they are not accompanied by interpreters, at the entrance to the museum there was a very self-explanatory display of how the villages used to subsist, and how the crypts were constructed and used.

Our next stop, and one we were anticipating was lunch at a local fish farm restaurant. That last time we enjoyed this treat was when we were in Laos, and we were looking forward to the experience. We were not disappointed!

The last place we stopped was a village where they constructed home for sale, and when you bought the home they disassembled the home, and shipped it to where you wanted it reassembled. They shipped these beautiful home all over the world!
