I ended up staying in this hospitable city longer than I had planned!
People were so friendly and the city surprised me with lots of beautiful mosques and old historical sites such as the underground water reservoirs, the wonderful old bazaar and the city gates.
The biscuits in this city are delicious and very famous for being the best in Iran!
I went to the Tourist office for some information and ended up with lots of gift post cards and an invitation for a free tour to the Alamut region!! I only had to wait a couple of days to be picked up in front of my hotel and enjoy a nice journey with local tour guide apprentices - all girls between 19 and 25 years old. I felt like some sort of `mascot` of the group. They were very cheerful and fun. We visited two `castles` and a lake in this gorgeous region! The invitation for lunch came handy as I only had a couple of bananas and some biscuits: the girls prepared barbecued chicken and tomatoes, served with bread and the typical Iranian sour yogurt drink. It was delicious! We had the meal in the middle of a blossoming cherry tree field - very picturesque.
Lambuserd (it means Eagle`s nest) castle and Ovan lake were my favourite sites!! There is not much left of the castle built structure but the site on top of the mountain and the total area of the fort were awesome!
I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Luizito,
I´ve just seen all the pictures and read all the posts you added to this pod, from beautiful Budapest to the amazing city of Qazvin. I miss you more than you can imagine, maybe because we´ve just seen each other for a while in Rio. Thanks for posting our picture at Sambódromo, it was nice to remember that special moment.
