Beach is a bit skanky, but then I suppose our standards are snobbishly high after Brazil! Had a nice long day of tanning and napping on the beach and then cooked some juicy steaks from the supermarket for dinner. Our hostel is quite nice, the two guys who run it are surfer dudes, they have got a great thing going on- potter about checking people in and going on the internet, surfing in the afternoon, all their friends come round for a BBQ in the evenings and they have a constant supply of travellers to hang out and party with! Another potential career idea?!
Unfortunately in the morning we awoke to thundering, torrential rain...feels more like Blackpool than Benidorm now! Had the bright idea to go to the aquarium only to find out that it was open air and had flooded as well! Our only choice left was...another nap! Unfortunately this meant that when it came to bedtime I was so bright eyed and bushy tailed that I couldnīt sleep at all. Stopped trying around 12.30am and came into the living room where I watched King Kong in Spanish with the cleaner. Now that, my friend, is what they call living the dream!
