Disneyworld yayayayay! The bus came at 10 to 8 this morning and we jumped on and were on the way to Disneyworld!! We had some trouble buying our tickets the night before, the internet was too slow and wouldnt let us buy them online, so we went to the lobby because you can buy tickets from the hotel, but something went wrong and tom's card was declined which was strange because he'd just put the exact amount of money in to pay for them. So we went upstairs to check his bank account and the purchase was pending but the girl wouldnt give us tickets because it never went through and kept saying declined. So thats confusing :S :S so we gave up on that idea and tom called the bank to sort it out.

SO long story short, we bought tickets at the gate, and since the bus was so early we didnt have to wait in line at all :D We got 3-day tickets with the park hopper option, so we could go to more than 1 park a day if we wanted to. Then we waited in line for half an hour till the monorail opened so we could catch it to the magic kingdom! So many people in line, we squished into the little monorail carts like sardines.

Magic Kingdom is a really cool place...characters everywhere (all with really long lines of parents with strollers waiting for photos, some waits up to an hour long...not very fun for little kids in the floridian sun) So we skipped the photos with characters and went for the rides! We started with Stitchs Great Escape, which was built up to be a big scary ride, but in actual fact you dont even move. Theres no spinning or turning and dropping or anything! Boring, but would have been quite scary for kids under about 5 years old, yes.

We also went to space mountain, which Tom had done at disneyland as a kid and said was scary, so i was excited :D scary rides are fun! Your in a rocket roller coaster cart and you get shot out onto the rollercoaster in pitch black and you dont know where you're gonna go next! I was at the very front of the cart and it was quite scary, but sooo much fun :D

Other attractions included the monsters inc laugh floor with mike kawowski haha such a fun attraction. We also did snow whites haunted ride, splash mountain and rocky rollercoaster ride which was awesome.

We then went to hollywood studios to see whether the star wars weekend had begun yet, or to see whether we could test ride the new star wars ride, but no luck. So we headed back to Magic Kingdom for some dinner, the parade and the fireworks. We spent too long at dinner though and by then there was nowhere to stand to see the parade! at least not on main street or in front of the castle, it was like 30 people deep, no fun! So we ran around to frontierland where the parade ends and managed to find some space to see the parade over there. Totally worth it because the parade was awesome. All the floats and characters were lit up! Check out the video, it was pretty cool.

We didnt stay for the fireworks though because we would have missed the bus, so we legged it back to the monorail to catch it back to the transport center to get our bus back to the hotel. such a long dayyyyy and we had to get up just as early to do it all again the next day!
