Hi all

Arrived in Langkawi day before yesterday and hit the beach straight away. Very windy though so the waves were too big to go swimming, beautiful views though. Palm trees and gorgeous jungle covered islands out in the bay.

The hostel we're staying in is great. Everyone's really friendly and hangs out together and it has a giant paddling pool! Who needs hotels??!

Having lots of fun here, chilling out on the beach and havin a few drinks. Staying here for a week so will check some things out around the island in the next few days. Apparently there are beautiful waterfalls and mangrove forests. Will probably take bikes and go for a cycle.
