Hello Family and Friends,
Started out today much more confident and on a journey.  The Collesium was incredible the history is really over the top.  Then off to find a bus, wow it was kind of hard but started talking to Roberto at the bus stop and he helped us alot.  The only problem is he was waiting for a bus at our stop and come to find out the bus does not run that area on Sunday.  Not much of anything except tourist attractions is open on Sunday.  Anyway, he did help us find the correct bus and he went off in the other direction.  We made it to the basillica in a bus full of people, no breathing room and sweating to death but it was worth every downfall because it was incredible.  As we entered the Vatican area, the pope was on the "Big Screen" giving Sunday mass.  He was not there, not sure where he was.  Anyway, then we entered a unbelievable beautiful church.  From there Mick was in charge of the next bus and we had to find Trevi Fountain.  He did great another and another bus ride from hell we were at a fountain of unbelievable beauty.  I just have one question when the bus stops and it is jam packed how do more people fit, because I saw it today and still do not have an answer.  We then took bus to Termini station to figure out the train for tomorrow and good thing we got headstart because it took us over an hour, but we now have ticket hand, just hope we get on the right train tomorrow to Venice.  It has rained on and off all day and we just walked around after buying an umbrella for 3 euros in the rain and really enjoyed Rome.  Oh yeah, it was hailing at one point, really hard!!!  Love to you all and we are once starving and will out for our first liter of wine and food.
