Well we are in Honduras.
We arrived in Tegus (shorter for Tegucigalpa) in the evening. The border crossing was very easy and out of nowhere we got a ride for free again to the place where we had to catch the bus. The people are very friendly around these countries.
The capital has not that much to offer, we went to a big market but weren´t interested in buying anything. We saw an advertissement for Dunkin Donuts recruiting people so we randomly asked to speak to the manager about it and got an interview! The man was willing ot employ us both, even if we were only goingto be there for a month, and even if Alex doesn´t speak much Spanish. BUT the working week is 48hours, for only 1500 Lempiras a month (about 80dollars, just to give you an idea, a meal is about 50 L, and the cheapest hotel room you can find is 90 L per person). It made us think, how do people survive in these conditions? We talked to other people about this and they said that normally the minimum one can expect is 4000 Lempiras a month.
