This is a sum up of the last 24hours:

Depart 9am from Labuanbajo (actually got there at 7am because no one could agree on the ferry departure so we just went with the earliest time, got up 6h30). Got on the ferry for 7hours and arrived in Sape, Sumbawa. From there, we took a mini van (actually rode on TOP of the bus with the luggage as the van was too full inside, but met with three french people that were good conversation) for two hours and arrived in Bima (around 16h30). Had to wait until 19h for the "big bus" to take us to Poto Tano (another 7hours). Arrived in Poto Tano around 2h30 in the morning, got on the ferry to cross to Labuan Lombok, in Lombok. This took approximately 2 hours. Got off the ferry and back on the bus to cross Lombok, again another two hours. Got dropped off in a bus terminal just outside Mataram town. It was about 5am at that stage. Had to make our way to Senggigi, which took two bemos (the indonesian shared public transportation for locals) to reach. We arrived in Senggigi at 7am and found the agency to sell us the ticket back to Bali. We waited until 9am for the ferry departure, got on the ferry, arrived in Padang Bay, Bali at 10h30. Walk out of town for a kilometre to avoid the touts selling us overpriced bus tickets. Found a first public bemo to drop us off at Klungkung, then a second one to Gianyar and finally a third one to reach Ubud. Arrived in Ubud and it took about 30 minutes to find a hotel.

I am now writing from our beautiful hotel room that I scored for a bargain. We had our first shower in 6 days and our first night of real sleep in as many days. Somehow we were still smiling while all this was happening and now that I am clean and rested, I realise it was all so worth it.
