Where I stayed
At Home :)
I have never blogged before and I am not so good at writing or expressing myself, unless I have had a drink. So apologies if this doesn’t make much sense/is utterly rubbish, but it is my first time so give me a break :)
Well when I decided to go to Australia (Around about this time last year) I never imagined somebody with my lack of common sense would be able to plan and organise it, let alone carry through with my plans and leave behind my family and friends. I know it is only for 6 months but it seems like a long time to not see the people I love the most. Therefore, this way I am able to write down all my feelings, fears, excitement, adventures and expeditions whilst sharing the moments through pictures as well. It will be like you are there with me (I promise !!!).
I have taken time to think about how I will structure this, and I have decided that the best way will be to make my entries as detailed as possible to cover every possible question you people will come at me with. Therefore I will be detailing all the amazing times I have, and in the unlikely event that I get bitten by a shark/crocodile/snake/spider then I shall fill you lot in with the details also. This way I will be able to keep you all up to date at the same time (instead of sending individual emails) and I will be able to look back at my travels and be able to remember every little thing that occurred.
Whilst I haven’t yet set off, it is only a week before I shall be leaving my much loved Country for a new adventure and I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and every person who has come into my life and shown me love and support. You have all helped me become the person I am today and without you I would not have to confidence to travel so far on my own. I know that I may come back a changed person, but it will be for the better. I hope it will open my eyes and show me the different avenues life can take me down, but you will all remain a valid and current part of my life and, even though 6 months could easily become longer, when I travel home you will be the people I want to see and share my experiences with. For those of you who don’t share my enthusiasm for such an adventure, I hope you can at least read this and take away anything positive you can from it...life is made for living.
For the time being, I only require a few things from you all:
1. X factor updates on a weekly basis
2. The Apprentice – I want to know who wins
3. I am going to crave a good English cuppa – so any donation of PG tips would be greatly appreciated :)
