I guess we had to go home sometime but I am never ready to leave the South Pacific no matter how long the visit.
It has been a wonderful trip with so many fabulous experiences. Writing the blog has been such a great way to journal it all and provide a keepsake we can treasure. It has been a lot of fun to share our adventures with you.
The weather cooperated to give us a great send off. We got up early and did a bit of last minute shopping at the Saturday market. Then it was beach time and conditions were perfect for feeding the fish in our lagoon. They will eat right from your hand. There are many different kinds and they are all interesting, some of them the most brilliant rainbow colours. A wildlife encounter, Raro style!
Suitcases are almost packed, just a few last minute things to be tucked away. We will have dinner here at our restaurant and be transported to the airport at 9 to catch our 11:15 pm flight. We are 9 1/2 hours to Los Angeles and then 3 hours to Calgary. We survived the 14 hours from Vancouver to Auckland so we should be able to manage this as well.
Here are a few more pictures of our last couple of days.
