We started our day with a breakfast smorgasbord that provided the protein needed to accomplish our day's activities.
After checking out both the local golf courses we decided to play the bigger course because they had golf carts. It was fairly chilly and dewey this morning so we decided to golf later in the day and spend some time downtown looking for souvenirs.
Sorry, we didn't find any but we did find a wonderful shoe store- actually the best one we've been in so far. We are sending along pictures of both the shoes and the toes that we had painted earlier this week when it was raining (so we had to do something that cost money).
We also found a hair place to have our fringes (i.e. bangs) cut. A lovely, young local girl completed the task and we look like new women. We continue to learn a new dialog as the days go by.
The golf was fab - beautiful weather, and many great views. It's always interesting to see the looks on faces when you say you need left handed clubs. The course was very hilly and we were glad we had the cart. It was women's day and we watched as all the senior locals pushed their own clubs - we were still happy we had a cart because it's been one of our warmest days.
