Well it's been a week since the Olympics are over, and I've been back home since Tuesday. My head is still not on straight but I'm trying to get things back together. Lot's of good news: Karin and Teddy are well and I'm so glad to see them, even if I've been short tempered, the Games were a success for the various parties I was involved in, looks like the Vancouver Winter Olympics are very likely for me, being part of a winning team, I start a new movie Tuesday, and of course, we have two new family members.
The family took some RNR time at the ocean to recoop, at least for me. On the way back home we picked up our two new kittens, Zephraim (boy) and Dax (girl) brother and sister. They are beautiful and very cheerful.
I don't know exactly how to sum up the trip. It was quite an experience to go to China, and get to know the capital Beijing. I can find my way around with a map and a few address cards. The opening ceremonies were truly a highlight of my adult life, and I am going through it at home from tape. It looks like I've joined a group that will be continuing on to the next Olympics, both winter and summer. I am hoping to bring them to New York for a movie in the future, if I can convince the powers that be here that they should use them. I have a new folding bicycle!! I hope to bike to work more often and get into shape.
I hope you have enjoyed the blog. If by chance I get the link to you after my trip is over, I apologize but internet was a bit of a pain over there and didn't have everybody's email. I hope to see you in person before too long, and want to make a hardback book of the adventure. Bye for now.
