I left Burnaby first thing in the morning and headed South. No problems crossing the Border and smooth sailing to Seattle (other than it being rainy).
For the holiday generally, weather initially was bit of a bust (rained like crazy) but that's what makes the trees in the Pacific Northwest grow so nicely <g>.
I stopped off and had lunch with Susan, an online friend at a comfortable little restaurant near where she works and near the 401, where I was making my wet way.
I stopped over for a day or so with a cousin and her husband in Seattle and we caught up on our lives since the last family reunion.
