Then we headed off to Nova Scotia via the Digby ferry. Although it is known for being on time all the time, it was 3 hours late because they couldn't get the doors open (my opinion was it was better to be outside waiting for the ferry than stuck inside. My travelling companions weren't quite so patient). Anyway, when we got to Digby we went down to Weymouth, Plymouth, etc to look for some of my friend's ancestors in a graveyard (found them). We stayed in Digby at a wonderful hotel complex run by the government of Nova Scotia. We actually stayed in a little cottage on the grounds and ate another memorable meal in the hotel itself which is an old sort of castle. Again, wow!
