The train ride back to Cusco from Ollayanatmbo was one i don't remember to well as we were all very tired, delirious and extremely sore from the spiderman rock climbing up to the sungate not to metion the previous 4 days of trekking!

As mentioned we defenitly lived up to the 24hr challenge and got home after our wild night out at 4am! Fernando wasn’t anywhere to be seen... SOFT!!!!

Luckily i had organised it so that Han and I had a couple of days in Cusco to recuperate after Machu Pichu... And THANK GOD! The majority of the group headed to the amazon for the next 3 days while me, han, jess and rach partyed up a storm relaxed and shopped in some very colourful/interesting markets!

Hannah and Rach went on a stunning horse riding adventure around Saqsaywaman (pronounced sexy woman haha) and encounted some of Cuscos unpredictable weather (locals say the weather in Cusco is like a woman.... Changes at the drop of a hat!!!) The morning was extremely hot (to the point that they got burnt) and by lunch time it was hailing and freezing!!! WAT THE????

The Chocolate factory was definitely a highlight... we learnt how coco was harvested and made into chocolate and more importantly we got to make and EAT our own... YUM YUM!!!!

We definitely fell in love with Cusco, it felt safe and offered some stunning views and more importantly good food! So even after 3 days we were sad to say goodbye....
