The dive master had told us that there was a bull shark that hung around 9-mile reef but unfortunately we didn't see it. The dive was good though. We saw butterflyfish and moorish idols and there was a swim through that we had to rise through a chimney which was quite fun as it was quite narrow and you could see the light from the surface through the hole in the top.

The visibility was pretty poor so we didnt see many of the smaller things like paperfish or nudibranchs but it wasn't too cold and we kept hearing dolphins so we were quite excited that we might see them.

We didn't on SCUBA but while we were on the surface interval we spotted the pod and got in to the water with our mask and snorkel hoping they would stick around. About 10 of them did, and we got to swim with them for about ten mins. It was amazing. They were just playing but a couple of them seemed to notice the camera and would stay with you as long as you pointed it at them! I like to think that they knew I was filming and taking pics but it may have just been a coincidence.
