                                          * Maine ~ The Way Life Should Be *

...considering our usual escapades...our 4-day journey to kennebunkport, maine was pretty uneventful.. i can credit my improved co-piloting skills to technology
- how did i ever survive w/o apps?

we discovered just 1 mile into the trip that traveling w/ domi was going to be a bit challenging, after he christened his new window bed.. hopefully he'll adapt (pray for us)

..after 1600 miles & 155 gallons of fuel..
we spent 8 wonderful days visiting w/ our friends jack & jackie in kennebunkport
(hard to believe it's been 7 years but as usual, we picked up where we left off)

kennebunkport was a feast in more ways than one.. w/ it's outstanding cuisine..rocky beaches..fishing villages..lighthouses..plentiful antiquing..
and did i mention the shopping?
i especially enjoyed the cape cod architecture

stayed in a really cool campground attached to
bentley's saloon

toured the coast on the motorbike
..ate some good food ie: lobster & more lobster (which incidentally, i plan to eat until i'm sick) and got my g/f fix, shopping all around kennebunkport, portland & freeport (home to llbean)

.
..sadly we bade adiós to our friends.. but at the same time we are excited to explore our next destination..
Mount Desert Island (home to Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park)
