After seeing most of what Indy had to offer the day before Blake and I decided to take off our tourist jerseys and have a bit of fun today.
We slept in, our king size bed was just way to comfy to want to get out of! We made our way into the City to wander through the local farmers market - it runs every wed from 9-1 in the business district so that workers can take a break and come buy local produce. Everything from honey, fruit and veg to dog treats. It was nice to have a little browse.
Unfortunately we had just had brekky so we couldn't justify buying the fresh baked goods... the smell made it very tempting!
We went to the movies to see X-men. $8.50... so cheap! The seats in the theatre were so so comfortable! The movie wasn't too bad either. Being a Wed arvo we pretty much had the theatre to ourselves.
Afterwards we played a round of 'Glow in the Dark Mini Golf'. Great concept! Blake won by 3 shots. Once again a nice cheap $7 activity.  The course was decorated really well it looked awesome!
We were extremely thirsty afterward so we went to Steak'n'Shake and treated ourselves to one of the incredible looking milkshakes we had seen advertised in the window. They came out looking just like the picture and did not disappoint! There were so many flavours to choose from and to be honest it was much more a thickshake than a milkshake... we ate most of it with a spoon. Fantastic value at $3.50!! Can probably claim it as the best milkshake I've ever had... and I've had alot of milkshakes in my short 21 years!
Back at the hotel it had started to rain really heavily so we went and spent some time in the spa before heading to White Castle (conveniently located 200m from our front door) for dinner. Not a healthy dinner, but it had to be done! We ordered 12 burgers (they were sliders, so mini burgers that blake could eat in 2 mouthfuls), 2 fries and 2 drinks. I could only eat 3 burgers. Blake ate 7. 2 of them ended up in the trash. Yep, safe to say we felt sick afterwards. The burgers weren't great basically bread, meat (if you can call it that), plastic cheese and a pickle (minus the pickle bleh). White Castle has now been ticked off the list.
Tomorrow we head to Florida. Miami here we come!
