We woke up to another day on this amazing island. At the local corner store we got some things for breakfast then ate on our sunny balcony. We then headed back to the temple of Apollo, prepared this time by only taking my waterproof camera. We had fun running through all the waves, and took a couple of funny videos of it.

We then got changed for the beach and walked all the way around our bay and watched some windsurfers in the next bay over. It looked like a lot of fun, but it was still really really windy and didn't seem like it would be very easy to learn to windsurf, otherwise it would have been the perfect place to try.

After a good swim in the big waves that the wind had created, we headed back to change then went into town for some lunch - a gyro pitta for me and an enormous crepe for Kyle, then explored some of the market shops.

I am now sitting on our balcony as the sun sets, listening to some awesome Greek music being played at a wedding going on at the hotel next to us. I can even seem them doing the Greek dancing that you see in movies etc, while people are clapping.

So intrigued by the dancing, I decided to go down to the little shop right beside the restaurant that the owner of our apartment also owns. I chatted to her for a little bit and she explained the bride and groom must dance with everyone attending the wedding. And not just a quick 10 seconds with each. It appeared that a group would dance to each song, which lasted about 10 minutes per song. The groom looked like he had been thrown in the ocean, but he was just so sweaty from dancing (for several hours already). Also, anyone is allowed to wear white to the wedding, there were several other people in white dresses - including the bride's mother.

We headed up to the abandoned cafe just up on the hill to see the sunset, the. Headed down into town for dinner. Skordalia dip to start, then chicken for both of us tonight. Yet again really good! I then went back to the markets so I could pick up a few more things, including a yummy truffle chocolate that I had spied earlier. Then it was back to the apartment to organise our bags for the next day (and luckily the loud music didn't go too late!).
