So now we are getting the hang of this Irish breakfast thing! We have already decided to go back on our health kick as soon as we get back!
We were off for day three shortly after breakfast. Our plan was to drive to Killarney via the Ring of Kerry. It was an amazing drive although quite "hair-raising" in a few spots. We stopped at numerous locations for the perfect photo ops. It is some of the most beautiful country-side in Ireland.
We arrived to Killarney in the late afternoon at our hotel, Randles Court, a beautiful old hotel located five minutes from downtown. We got a great recommendation for dinner and then went to a pub to hear some local Irish music by the "Molly Maguires". They were so good we decided to purchase a couple of their CDs. Rob was very surprised to hear me belting out a couple of the old Irish tunes and quite frankly so was I. It brought back memories of growing up in an Irish area. Fun, fun, fun!!
