Our unplanned diversion back to the UK began with visiting the family, and finally getting those vegemite supplies from Mum!
We spent a day at Brighton beach, where lots of people were picnicking on the pebbles but only one crazy tourist was going swimming. No it wasn't one of us. The Royal pavilion looks bizarely Taj Mahal inspired. Ceratinly the look I'd be going for in a beach cottage.
Taking advantage of all the public footpaths and Sussex's title of most wooded county, we spent on morning hiking. To the pub. Well, this is England but no we didn't have tea or play dominoes, we just settled for beer and lunch.
