Of course we had to visit the industrial museum, who could resist seeing a whole building full of steam engines and generators? plus working lego models. Bevan was playing spot-the-gargoyle on buildings, which entailed stopping every few minutes... there are a lot of them.
We saw the Mancunians in their natural habitat, an enormous shopping mall. And of course, it wouldn't be a holiday in England without a pint of ale in an English pub.
