Into the South of Germany we wanted to show the American parents-in-law that there is more to Germany than sausages and Lederhosen... Weinheim is a beautiful town with a typical old-town and the German Fachwerk-Houses, but Heidelberg tops it off...though being a little touristy it is truly the most romantic town in Germany and the view from the castle is spectacular plus you get to walk down the longest pedestrian shopping street.
