Since Dubai was a stop-over on our way to Germany, we decided to check it out for a few days.
In a nutshell, Dubai is crazy expensive and probably one of the most artificial, uncharismatic and wasteful places out there (another version of Las Vegas with endless shopping malls, and big resorts)....it's simple, building a city in the desert has its consequences with insane water and energy consumption.
So, not our cup of tea....but we're glad to know what the buzz is all about.
