Where I stayed
Puebla is called Angelopolis due to its many churches...for us it was angelical for its wonderful Churros and Quesadillas, the Spanish feel, the Annual Music Festival on the Zocalo (main plaza) and the antique Flea Market. But again, we were haunted by our bad break in finding a nice place to stay....this time the hotel was absolutely beautiful (Hostal Santa Maria) but we didn't know that the cafe in its courtyard would play music until 2am while all Mexicanos' cigar-smoke escaped exclusively into our little chamber. ...let's hope we are luckier in Mexico City.
