So, I do not remember where I left off, but I think it was in Paris. We traveled to Beaune and enjoyed the slower pace of a smaller town. There is a music festival taking place in most cities in France, so there were musicians everywhere in Beaune. We took a walk to the Cote D'Or, which is a strip of land where the most expensive wines in the world are made. It was beautiful. The next day, Jason found a place that had a camera charger, since my batteries weren't charging - aaaaaahhhhh. We got to Switzerland yesterday and it is WONDERFUL. The people are amazing and the views even better. Our room has a balcony facing a small waterfall and the mountains. I had to buy new shoes today because the ones I had rubbed horrible blisters on my heels. So, today we are going to go to the top of the local mountain range. Miss you, love you! Until next time... =)

Switzerland aye??
Well it sounds like a pretty fantastic time when you can't remember where you left off right?
So ....... music in every city in France sounds like a music teachers delight. Ahhhh the culture the centuries old traditions the architecture the feelings and mood of a far away place like no other you have ever experienced and may never every again. Grasp it ...feel it... be one with it ...love it embrace it all !!! ............... but really folks what about the beer? How's the beer in France and Switzerland?
The beer is pretty much the same here, plenty in the fridge. I have'nt seen anything on sale for the weekend here in sunny Neptune Beach. Tonight we will be having Shellie and her X boyfriend, Scott, over for dinner and we plan to plank cook a delicious meal of Snapper and a creamy vegetable medley on the Green Egg. There will be an artisan bread toasted with organic butter and garlic in addtion to a crisp romain salad with a finely aged balsamic vinegret dressing. That will be paired with a light Pino Grigio. Wish you were here !

Ok Max my turn again!!!
So sorry to hear of your blister problems that have caused you to have to shoe shop in Europe. Let me just recommend you place your tired little feet in a cool cool bath of water from that waterfull you have the breathtaking view of from you hotel window. Perhaps Jason would fetch some of the water from the fall for the foot bath for you ... and maybe even pick up some dark Swiss chocolate for you to enjoy while soaking those blisters ???
Well just peace out for now and cant wait to hear whats next.
Love Mom
Don't be jealous.....
Day One: Picture this...Harry Potter Scene It played on a delightful fake pine coffee table. We indulged in delectible crab meat surrounded by a thin, crispy wonton (here they call it crab rangoon, not sure what it is called there), accompanied by one of our delicious domestic beers, imported for you folks.
The rest of the trip would make you too jealous so we will just stop there.
In Jacksonville: Today has consisted of staring at the amazing design on Randi's ceiling, sidenote: if you throw a ball at the ceiling, it actually appears to be snowing. And she has apparently come down with a delightful case of the flu.
Meanwhile in Ft Lauderdale: Abby's day has consisted of sweltering heat upon entering her car, then dining on fine Italian meat and cheese in a floury, breadlike wrap, it was a fantastic pocket of leanness.
I hope you guys are coming home soon because the food, music and views sound horrific!
Love you guys, hope you're having fun!
Abby (and Randi via phone)
P.S. Randi insists I tell you she won 2 gold medals at the Police Olympics!
