Hello today we arrived at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park!  First we went to the Sugarlands Visitor Center where we got our Junior Ranger book. We joined a Ranger talk called "Treemendous!" with Ranger Lloyd.   We learned how to identify trees in many different ways. We did an activity where we had to identify them by the shape of the leaves.  It was pretty cool.  Then we left to find a camping site.  We found a really nice one near the river.  Before we got out of the car two little frogs hopped in to our car!  Then they hopped on my dad so he got to set them free.    When we arrived at our campsite we set up our site and made dinner.  That chicken and rice was delicious!  We then left to Oconaluftee Visitor Center where we saw a lot of Elk.  We took a walk through an 1800s Mountain Farm.  As we were walking through the farm I spotted a Ground Hog/ Whistle Pig/ Marmot/ Mouse Bear/ Land Beaver/ Woodchuck (it really has all these names!)  So I have always wanted to know... how much wood can a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?  Post your answers please.  Good Night.
