Visit Carlsbad Caverns National Park
Hello everyone, I am talking to everyone from New Mexico. I had so much fun here. At the beginning of the day my cousin and I went to go play a bit more soccer and then headed to go eat at Chicos Tacos, the tradition of El Paso. Yummy! From there we had to say our goodbyes I already miss my tio, my tia, and my cousin. From El Paso to Carlsbad is quite a drive. We went to Carlsbad Caverns National Park which is known for its caverns and its bats. First we took a ride in the elevator down 750 ft. Can you believe I took a mile and a half hike underground! After our hike we headed to the Bat Amphitheater. On our way over there we found a tarantula on the side of the trail. When we sat down the park ranger kept going on and on about how bats are superheroes. Then I saw a lot of bats flying out of a cave, maybe around 10,000 Mexican Free-Tailed Bats came out of the cave. We are going to go back tomorrow so we can do a few more things. We had to go find a hotel and on our way over there we saw the sky turn red and realized it was lightning. After we arrived at the hotel we were all hungry so we decided to go to Gorditas Maria's little Mexican stand. The chile rojo tasted just like grandmas. So tomorrow we will do a few more things at the caverns and then take a six hour drive on the road to San Antonio, Texas. I wish the Spurs all the luck they can get. Good Night.
