Having spent over 1460 days living and working in the Cayman Islands we have decided to pack our bags and embark on a round the world adventure, covering up to 17 different countries and touching base in over 43 different cities.

The past four years living in Grand Cayman have been fantastic but there comes a point in life where it is time to move on and embrace a new challenge. We will be taking some truly great memories along with us and have meet some amazing people from all parts of the globe, who knows we may be calling on you as our journey takes shape!

The past couple of weeks have been eventful to say the least. Our word of advice would be don't try to leave a job, move house and country on the same day, even on Cayman time it's stressful! When we arrived in Grand Cayman on September 7, 2005 we had packed our lives into 3 suitcases, plus a set of golf clubs, but now we seem to have so much stuff! We have almost tripled the number of bags we will be taking back. That's not to mention all the items we have sold, donated and binned. Our greatest purchase and now our top seller, our old reliable car shall be sadly missed. We bought it with 32,000 kilometres on the clock and sold it on 92,000. Not bad going for an island that is only 22 miles long.

So the official count down is on. Friday will be our last day in Cayman when we will board the big bird back to the UK one last time. It is then just 5 days until the adventure begins! Please follow us on our road trip and enjoy our blog as much as we enjoy travelling.

Farewell,  au revoir,  Auf Wiedersehen,  arrivederci,  vaarwel, adeus,  adios!

Horace - You better be sorry you missed Andy's last gathering. You missed a fun filled night of push ups and man hugs.
