As a treat to you railway fans (you know you are!), here's a photo of "some shocking p/way" that the newly Chartered Civil Engineer was more than happy to let his wife travel along earlier this morning.......

POWELL! Hope you've not frozen to death in Blighty. Still very, very hot here....A's beard still v hairy - not sure when he'll shave it. The shaking leg has stopped but he's now taken to worrying about how often we should apply suncream. Top tip - buy shares in Nivea. He's going through the stuff quicker than you can eat a giant piece of cheese :-)) Can't wait to catch up with you in Feb. Lots of tips (especially how to avoid getting scammed by certain Vietnamese!) for when you come to this part of the world!
