Day 87
We had packed everything up and were ready to pull out only to find Corrie had lost all his clutch fluid overnight. Spoon was back under the car and found the clutch slave cylinder had now gone (the master had gone in Uganda). Luckily in the bag of contraband smuggled into Zanzibar a repair kit had been sent over and within an hour we were back in action. Rob did however have to stand guard with the tyre lever as the baboons were on full rampage again, and were pulling over every dustbin in sight and trying to get into the back of Corrie.
The drive to Ai Ais was only 70km and we got there and set up the awning quickly. Then it was off to the hot springs where we lazed away the rest of the day enjoying our last night in Namibia and reminiscing about the trip. The night aptly ended the same way the very first night of the trip was spent, with Dave's snoring lulling Spoon and Rob to sleep.
During the night our sleep was interrupted when Spoon woke up half the camp shouting at a huge baboon who had wondered into our little camping area. With the full moon out the baboons had obviously grown brave, and ventured out even at night. The baboon was gracious enough to leave us a little package as literally the crap had been scared out of him.
