Spring is here and everyday the world seems more alive.  We took a walk up the hill, down the street, through the woods, to the end of three paths, and then found a whole new trail I had never even seen the entrance to before. The perfect 'journey' from My Own Backyard.

My husband and I found native flowers budding and blooming all around us.  We came upon a golden sunlit grass field, marshlands, islands on the lake, and a waterfall.  We saw a porcupine and a red trillium.  I felt like a kid again, especially finding a tree fort.

A memory was made that I will surely look back on in year to come.
