Banff Springs Golf Course is one of the nicest courses I've ever played. The maintenance of the course was spectacular and extremely standardized. Every bunker was raked in the same circular pattern and all the fairways lined up the square tee boxes to the green with perfectly straight diamonds. Our friend JMac used to work there so he knew the names of all the mountains but I can't remember them now unfortunatly. I believe this Stanley Thomson course was rated 14th in Canada. How lucky I am to have had the opportunity to play.
