The last day, and would you believe the sun was shining?! All of us were up early to breakfast and checkout but there was enough time to take a walk overlooking the water, taking some final photos, and soak up some rays.
We arrived at the airport with well enough time, and a good thing too because the line ups were long and stationary. All the airport staff was wearing masks and there was a burnt smell in the air. The Duty Free Shop had caught on fire!
You know, I am a little glad to be going home. I don't mean to complain (back home it was -20 so I shoudln't even mention the rain!) but this island is giving me the creeps and it seems there's just one incident after the next. To quote the Spirit of the West and their song Home for a Rest: "These so called vacations will soon be my death!"
