"Minaki: Population 350" said the announcement as we slowed into "the quaint town that has grown with tourism since the rail" was built right through the town. Where did this voice and this information come from? I didn't even know there was a loudspeaker until now. We've been sitting here for hours and hours on end, wondering the hell we are, getting our heads bitten off by the service staff for asking, and now in the middle of nowhere, an announcement comes on with tidbits of fun facts about Minaki?! No one gets off. We continue talking about what it would be like to bike across Canada...
