I came to Puerto Iguazu planning on just spending a day and leaving at night for Paraguay.  I hopped on the bus in San Ignacio Mini and was amazed by the movies they had on board.  This was probably the best bus ride of the trip.  They must have had a DVD of Academy award nominees because we watched The Fighter, The Kingīs Speech, and The Social Network.  Honestly, after seeing the Kingīs Speech I can understand why it won best picture.  Donīt get me wrong, I loved The Black Swan, but The Kingīs Speech was really good and there wasnīt a moment in it where I felt it was being cliche or anything (there were a couple times in The Black Swan that I felt it was trying a little too hard to be artsy or something).  Anyways, the three movies were excellent and the bus ride passed by quickly.  Arriving in Puerto Iguazu I immediately hopped on a bus to the falls and they were awesome.  I mean, really awesome.  I didnīt think anything would be able to beat how amazing they were, but I think the sheer amount and variety of butterflies gives the falls a run for their money.  The whole experience was great and I was a little bummed that I didnīt have more time to spend at the falls themselves to hike some of the other trails.  Still, I saw a Coati and a deer which was pretty cool (no pictures because they just ran by me).  I got back to Puerto Iguazu and realized I was 15 minutes late to catch the bus to Ciudad Del Este (I hadnīt bought my ticket yet) and instead got a room at some hippy dippy hostel here in town.  Anyways, things are good and I definitely recommend the falls to anyone who comes down to South America.
