We are in Copenhagen, as you may have already gathered.

The 12hr trip wasnt too bad at all. I didnt end up getting ANY sleep the night before, so I was able to sleep for a little bit, but with changes, it didnt feel like we were on any train for long.

The trip from Hamburg to Copenhagen was pretty cool as you had to go on a ferry at one point, and rather than just getting a different train at the other side, the train came along on the ferry too!

It isnt at all cheap here... We pretty much had to starve yesterday, well we had fruit, which wasnt fun. But it paid off when we finally got the biggest pizza we'd ever seen for 79KR, about 10euros...

After dinner, we just went to bed. Was only early, and the common room with pool table is just down the hall and quite noisy, but we both slept right through the night. Travelling is tiring!

Today, we followed a little tour guide in a map we got from the hostel. It was pretty cool - took us past the royal palace - we couldent find mary - and the Little Mermaid statue. It was mostly just REALLY nice parks and churches. Took us about 4 or so hours to do.

Can someone make us a batch of - a layer of short bread, layer of really rich strawberry jam, another lay of shortbead, then top it with plain glace icing and sprinkles - for when we get home? We gave in and paid 9KR for it today, and it was the best thing Id tasted since I left the good Aussie food at home...

We went to the hippie colony of Christiana. Took us ages to walk there, and then we kinda wished we haddened bothered... Saw enough hippies in Amsterdam anyways.

People here also ride everywhere. Must be a european thing. Pretty cool though.

The accent is fairly funny. And everyone really does look like Viking descendants - all blonde hair, blue eyed. Very pretty people actually.

Tomorrow were off to Oslo, Norway. Kinda glad that we didnt have much time here actually, as its so expensive. But Oslo is meant to be the most expensive city in the world... Our hostel there has a kitchen though, so that should make a difference.

8hr train trip there, but with only 1 change. Im actually liking the long trips. Its nice to HAVE to sit and do nothing...

Anyways, people waiting to use computer...
