Today was our leisure day to do nothing. We ate breakfast at the hotel and then headed down to the beach. The Marriott provides chairs, umbrellas, and towels. (don't forget to bring some singles down to tip the guys who set everything up for you) Regardless of whether the sun is shining or not, you'll definitely get some sun. There are people selling things up and down the beach, but they don't approach you, but you will hear them beckoning to you all day.
We at lunch at La Vista pool side. We had the lobster salad and it was tremendous. It was lobster, cucumber, avocado, and tomatos. Wonderful! We spent the afternoon at the pool until the rain drove us into our room to sit on the balcony and hang out for a while. We then dressed and went to dinner at Via Appia. The sandwiches are huge, the pizza looked good and the pasta was really good. If you're up for italian, it's definitely a place to check out.
Tomorrow we fly out and say good bye to Puerto Rico. Definitly looking for the next time to come visit Puerto Rico!
